The name Pakistan means Land of (the) Pure in Urdu and Persian. Pakistan was a part of British India until 1947. It ranks as the sixth most populous nation in the world. It has the second largest Muslim population in the world. Urdu, the national language of Pakistan, is the chosen language of many Ballywood movies and music soundtracks because of its melodic sound.
